MSA and APWA San Diego Chapters host the 2024 Annual Equipment Show, Vendor Demo, & Roadeo Competition on Thursday, April 25 at Harry Griffen Park from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Click here for online registration link. DEMONSTRATION: Vendor demonstrations occurring throughout the all-day event.
EQUIPMENT SHOW: See the latest and greatest products your MSA Vendors have to offer!
COMPETITION: Agency teams will compete for a trophy based on overall scores in four competitions: Backhoe Skills, Mini-Excavator Skills, Sign Assembly, and Wheelbarrow Obstacle Endurance. Each agency can register one 3-person team (1-person for the Sign Assembly, 1-person for the Wheelbarrow, and one person that must operate the backhoe and mini-excavator).
The official rules to be sent to registrants prior to the event. We invite each team to bring their own custom wheelbarrow (non-motor driven) to use during the competition. MSA will also provide a wheelbarrow.
APWA will be sponsoring the 1st and 2nd place competitors in the equipment competition to compete at the 2024 National APWA ROADEO, which is being held in Atlanta, GA September 8 - 11, 2024. Registration includes: Lunch, vendor equipment show, and a chance to win a raffle prize!
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Municipal and Utility Field Workers, Supervisors, Engineers, Superintendents, Managers, Directors, Administration staff, Buyers, Purchasing Agents, and Safety Officials
COST: $35.00 per person
VENDOR OPTIONS: Pop-up, chairs and table not provided. Please bring a raffle prize. $150 – One Space (12’ x 18’ approximate) $250 – Two Spaces (24’ x 18’ approximate) – trailers require two spaces
+ $100 for each additional space after two (limited availability) *Non-MSA vendors additional $115 for membership to participate.
